COVID-19 vaccine required for green card and refuge applicants

Beginning October 1, 2021 USCIS and Dept. of State will require green card and refuge status applicants to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Children and people with medical exceptions are exempt.

All new immigration medical examinations, Form I-693 completed on or after October 1, 2021 will have to contain evidence of COVID-19 vaccination. Forms I-693 completed before October 1, 2021 will be accepted without COVID-19 vaccine.
